The Bible consisting of the sixty- six books of the Old and New Testaments is the infallible Word of God, written by holy men of God inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme standard by which all things are to be judged and is our authority for all life and conduct.
The Godhead exits co-equally and co-eternally in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God. His is infinite in power, wisdom, holiness and love
We believe in the true and proper deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His real and complete humanity, in His sinless life, in His authoritative teaching, in His substitutionary and atoning sacrifice through His blood shed, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His heavenly intercession and His second come to receive His Church.
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son and the necessity of His work in conviction of sin, repentance, regeneration and sanctification.
We believe that man was created in the image of God and for fellowship with Him. That by disobeying the command of God, mankind fell from fellowship with God and their nature was corrupted. As a consequence, all people are spiritually dead under Satan’s domination. Since the power of sin reigns in their lives, all are subject to God’s wrath and eternal condemnation. Apart from God’s mercy, man is helpless and utterly deprived of any possibility to obtain eternal life by means invented by himself. We believe therefore that every human being on earth is in need of salvation from God
We believe in the death of Christ on the cross of Calvary. His death atoned for man’s sin and brought reconciliation between God and man. We believe that His blood is the only and all sufficient means by which man can be saved through faith and have eternal life. We believe that Christ conquered the devil on the cross and rendered him powerless who had the power of death. Christ gave His victory to His church.
We believe that any sinner can be saved through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His victorious death. We believe that it is the right of every human being to partake of salvation. This salvation is to be experienced here and in our lifetime.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is essential for the acceptance of God’s provision of salvation. The Holy Spirit convicts sinners of their sinfulness, leads them to repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As a result, the sinner experiences spiritual birth as God’s child and enters into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Working within the life of the believer the Holy Spirit makes real the presence of Christ, witnesses to their relationship with God, leads into all truth, produces the fruit of the Spirit and bestows gifts for effective service. Living in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, the believer is anointed with the power of God to accomplish ministry beyond human ability or capacity.
We believe the Church is composed of all those who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Church finds its most visible manifestation in local communities of believers who, confessing their faith in Christ, choose to congregate in fellowship with each other, to worship, pray and minister together. The Christian Church is most powerfully manifest when numbers of local worshipping communities stand together in fellowship and unity, founded on their common faith in Jesus Christ.
The Spirit of God bestowed the spiritual gifts of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher to equip those called do leadership in His Church. Those called and empowered are required to live godly lives and through example and instruction, to equip the people of God for their life and ministry.
We believe that the New Testament only acknowledges two sacraments, that of water baptism and Holy Communion. We believe that water baptism is experienced only once by complete immersion while Holy Communion is repeated often in remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection.
Until the day of Christ’s return, all who have received salvation through faith in Him live under the covering of God’s grace. In this believers enjoy His abiding love and favor. Through the ministry of His indwelling Holy Spirit believers experience His empowering presence, which enables them to be all God created them to be an to do all He has called them to do.
At the end of this age, according to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in His glory to the earth. The full consummation of the Kingdom of God awaits his return.
